What does TrainSmart do?
TrainSmart provides a range of quality foundation programmes for Youth, Adults, Migrants and Refugees.
We run Youth Courses (for people aged between 16 and 18) and Adult Education, ESOL/literacy courses and Training for Work (for people over 18 years of age). We can also provide literacy and numeracy courses to employees in the workplace.
We provide the essential skills to pathway our students to their next stage in life - either into employment, or onto further study or training.
Established in 1994, TrainSmart is a private training establishment run under the auspices of Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development Ltd. (ATEED Ltd.) . Our main training centre is based in Henderson, Auckland.
TrainSmart is NZQA-registered. Most of our programmes are TEC or MSD funded and are therefore free of charge.
