ESOL for Adults
Our NO FEE ESOL courses are designed to help migrants and refugees improve their English language skills and prepare for employment.
Aimed at adults with upper-elementary, pre-intermediate and intermediate level skills, the courses are offered at our Henderson location.
As well as covering all English language skills in class, your tutors will help you to use a computer, learn important things about working in New Zealand and, when you are ready, help you with the next step in your journey, whether that be work or further study.
ESOL Programmes

We offer two ESOL programmes for Adults. Both programmes provide a selection of NZQA Unit Standards:
•
ESOL English for Employment •
ESOL Work-Based Training
Life at TrainSmart
We understand how hard a new country can be, having to learn a new language, looking for a job and looking after a family. That is why we want to make your time at TrainSmart as positive as we can.
TrainSmart is a small, friendly place. You will not get lost here! You will be expected to work hard but you will also make new friends from every corner of the world.
ESOL students have their own common room where they can have lunch and relax and a small garden to enjoy on sunny days.
